high output stator?

Post by klrdon@comcast.net » Sat Sep 10, 2011 8:04 pm

My '02 will pull any 2 of the 3 listed below above system needs. Gerbing jacket Heated grips Gerbing heated gloves If you need all 3 then that's what the switch to shut off the low beam is for and an instant 55 W shot of electrical nitrous. If you need a headlight on while in this mode, flip the Hi beam on but know you're running a deficit that will have to be paid back later! Don't that sound familiar? An LED tail light will buy 5W and HID headlights will buy an additional 20W assuming you run a 35W HID system. You need an accurate volt meter to do the balancing act. My 07 KLR liked a Moose Racing higher output stator. Stock stator did not like my Gerbing jacket liner(77 watts). I have bright Trailtech Equinox aux led lights and a Garmin 60csx as my electric add-on loads. Mark in Nevada.
