Bike was purchased summer 1999, but broken leg month after purchase forced

Alex & Kurt,
I agree, too much for that old a machine. I paid only $2400.00 for my '95
KLXC3 over 2 years ago! Had only 1700 miles and less than 4 years old.
Mine came with the Renthal bars and Supertrapp too.

After 5 wonderful years and 42K trouble-free miles I have decided to
sell my KLR. This 1998 model currently sports low mileage Avon
Gripsters, 1550 Pelican cases using the Jake Jakeman system, Moose
bash plate, SS front brake line, VC throttle lock, Progressive front
fork springs, highway pegs, and a Givi tail trunk. It has been used
primarily for commuting to work. I am selling to upgrade to a v-twin
for commuting. It is listed in the cycle trader for $2850, but I will
let it go for $2500 to anyone on the list. Price includes free
delivery, if needed, within 300 miles of Atlanta. Contact me off list
