Disable the sucker and it will never leave you stranded halfway up a stupidly steep hill - trying to find neutral, like it did me.

I was forced to go back to neutral to restart if it stalled at a light. I opened it up and eventually removed the clutch lever. The problem appears that the "peg" end of the plastic contact sliding mechanism was broken off (I have all pieces). Because the peg-end is now too short, it will not properly engage the indexing hole in the clutch lever and move with the handle. Besides disabling the system or buying a new clutch lever perch with a new safety switch for $50+, does anyone know if a replacement slider (plastic portion, I have the metal contact and spring) is available?
