It says 3 or 4 on the reservoir caps. I have been using some DOT 5.5 that I had left over from a Mercedes brake job I did. Is there any harm using what I gather to be higher spec. synthetic fluid if you bleed out the old stuff? J#3

"On the practical side, beware that glycol and silicone brake fluids are hugely incompatible with each other. Mixing even small amounts will create a sludge that looks amazingly like Italian salad dressing and is about as effective as a brake fluid -- meaning, not. Of further consideration is that, in some cases, the hardware designed for one fluid will not accept the other. Brake caliper and master cylinder seals, hoses, and other parts won't always work correctly when the type of fluid is changed." from this article: http://www.motorcycleproject.com/motorcycle/text/cows-brakefluid.html

instead of buying used or new stockers. I ended up having to order a flasher from the same people I had bought the lamps from to get it working in that direction.

Success! So, drilled holes, installed cups and leds with a touch of super glue to make sure all stays where I put it. ;-) run wiring and connected to OEM signal lights ground side to LED input side. LED grounds to instrument ground. Button everything up and back together. Success! Looks pretty kewl also. Now, I have an LED signal indicator light for each side more in my line of vision just above the speedo/tach line of sight.
