So, I should take the tank and rear upper engine mounts off?
Or I guess I could just undo the choke cable nut with bent
needle nose pliers and take off the throttle plate/linkage...and twist the carb in place.
Just trying to get the float bowl off;JUST TRYING TO CHANGE THE MAIN JET.

You can probably do it that way, it's a bit fiddly but much less
disassembly. You can for sure drop the float bowl so the jet can't be too
much farther in. I did it (float bowl) several times on the road 2 years
ago.
