What's wrong with twin-shocks? That would also be insinuating that H-D motorcycles are not the best machines, ever.

Many moons ago....a few years after a divorce when i was so broke I could barely pay attention, I had a Hyundia Excel. This was back when Hyundia was synonnomous for quailty as poor as a 1974 Chevy Vega. When the Hyundia di what Hyundias di.it spit is guts all over the 55 fwy in Sant Ana.
HOWEVER I had an extended warrentee and the thing was in the shop for 8 weeks getting a new engine.
During this time I had to commute from Placentia to Pico Rivera daily and do all my grogery shopping at other task on my Honda CX 500 GL Silverwing Interstate.
I saw more dumb crap that you would believe.
I got into a few close call when my old training fro me college days kicked in...to misquote a freind
Mike there are 2 rules to survival on a Motorcycel;;;;
1 95% og the people in cars and trucks cannot see you!
2 The other 5 % are out to run your ass over!
Keeping this in mind has served me well.
In theory Motorcycles have the same right to the road as cars. I am a prcticing engineer in an Aerospce firm. I learned to leave theory to the pysicists. Fact is. Peopl drive like shit and use Braille to determine lane position.
Get used to it. It is NOT going to change. Beeen this way all 37 years I have been riding.
