trunk help

Post by Tom Hayslett » Sun Jul 17, 2011 9:02 pm

I bought a trunk from JC Whitney - the medium size. It came with a universal mounting bracket but I can't seem to get it mounted to the rack on my A16. Has anyone successfully mounted one of these? What's the secret? [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

MX boots were just too big/long. So, I found these $300 Sidi street boots for $40. I don't know how long they will hold up but they look wicked and fit under the shifter(I wear size 13 boots. Also, came with these ICON Super Duty gloves that are made out of Deer hide. Got these for $10 Were from the same guy so total $50. Evidently the DPO got a brand new CBR with riding gear. Didn't ride it and dumped it all. http://i943.photobucket.com/albums/ad278/halgot1/sidiicon001.jpg J#3

trunk help

It will only align up to two holes on the rack. I had to drill the other two holes. Been on the bike for 5+ years (mostly off road) with no problems. I installed mine to the rear of the rack. I can still use the hole for the factory tool kit. ________________________________ From: Tom Hayslett To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Sun, July 17, 2011 9:02:21 PM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Trunk help I bought a trunk from JC Whitney - the medium size.
