Not only are there differences between individual agents, but insurance companies operate differently in the various 50 states. What my agent tells me is going to be different from what your tells you just because I'm in Washington and you're not (mostly). Same with health insurance.
I get a reasonable price on my KLR from State Farm, but a ridiculously expensive price on my DL650, which they consider a fast sportbike likely to result in big claims. I got a good deal on that one from Foremost.
Your mileage almost assuredly will vary.

Ahhh...that's what I am talking about...I was told $900/yr and I have the full good record discount. They must have missed something.
