friendly bikers

Post by Jeff Khoury » Thu Jun 09, 2011 2:33 pm

What goes around, comes around. I've done similar things for people and I hope that if it ever happens to me, someone will do the same. Glad to hear you had a good experience. -Jeff Khoury From: "Gretchen Vogel" To: "DSN KLR650" DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Thursday, June 9, 2011 11:10:54 AM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Re: friendly bikers Yeah, My waving to riders karma really payed off the other day when I jumped on my bike that I'd parked for a couple of days with the tank on reserve (going to stop doing that) and not surprisingly ran out of gas - luckily on a flat stretch by the ocean and not only did a friendly biker stop and wonder why I was pushing my bike along the side of the road (I figured I'd get more exercise than calling AAA and I knew of a gas station not too far up the way) but he went home, borrowed a gas can from a neighbor and brought me a gallon of gas!!! Now that's a friendly rider! Makes me extra happy to be on a bike. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
