footpegs

Post by mark ward » Sun Jun 05, 2011 8:06 am

I got My pivotpegs last year. And agree with RJ. the PRO'S outway the cons. and the first few times feel weird, but after, solid pegs feel like you have less space grabing you foot. when you are standing and your foot tilts and sits on the edge, My ANKLE likes them better too. LOVE THEM (and I'm CHEAP....thrify.) Mark (W. Mi.)

I was hesitant when I ordered them over the cost, but now I wouln't own a motorcycle without them. It felt pretty weird for the first 4 or 5 miles having the pegs rotate when I moved, but once I got used to the sensation I would never go back to stock pegs. I think they are a wonderful idea and a wonderful improvement. The upside is you will feel much more connected to the motorcycle, especially when off-road. The downside is the cost and that you now have one more pivot point to clean and grease during maintenance, but the benefits definitely outweight the costs.
