Jim-- So it would seem. smile. Sometimes a used bike has a pre-paid, fully transferable extended warranty; up to 4-years according to this: see paragraph titled: 'street bike; includes dual purpose'. http://www.kawasaki.com/products/Warranty.aspx Fellow poster Jeff Saline bought his 2003, 1-year old bike (as I recall)and the asking price included the 3 or 4 year extended warranty. The asking price fit the ~$500/year depreciation but his bike had the bonus feature of an extended warranty for very little extra $$. When buying late-model used, it can be worth the effort to have the local KHI dealer run the VIN and see if it has a paid-up extended warranty. Just some FYI. enjoy. revmaaatin.> > Of course the '10 will still have a new bike warranty that a used bike would not. >
