I think this ebay seller is confusing the kickstand safety switch to be a seat release. Though a quick release system for the KLR seat would be nice. ????

Dear nakedwaterskier,
we do not know. we buy complete bikes at insurance auctions , part them
out and they are all listed under what the vin number runs. there may
or may not have been modifications made to areas of the bike prior to
us owning them. there is no manufacture name located on the item
Thank you and please let me know if I can help you further.

Is this an aftermarket part or OEM? I wasn't aware of anyone making a
seat release for the KLR. Do you have a mfr name?
NOW IF KHI ADDED A 6TH GEAR INSTEAD OF ALL THAT BREAKABLE STUFF THEY
PUT ON THE POST 07s...

Since I was laid off last year, I need to clear space and raise some
cash for future endeavours. So it's with a heavy heart that this morning
I listed both my 2000 Ducati Monster 900Sie and my 2001 Kawasaki KLR650
for sale on CraigsList. Both of these bikes have lots of choice
accessories on them.
Here are links to my web pages for them:
2000 Ducati Monster 900Sie
http://www.steinborn.org/jim/forSale/monster/
asking $6500
2001 Kawasaki KLR650
http://www.steinborn.org/jim/forSale/klr/
asking $3100
Please pass this along to anyone you might know who might looking for a
motorcycle.
Hopefully these won't have to go to eBay...
I also have a very nice Hammond B-3 organ (quintessential rock band
organ) and tri-amped Linn Kaber loudspeakers for sale, if you know
anyone looking for either of those.
And if someone gave me the right price, I might even part with my 1966
Corvair Monza 110:

Thanks,
Jim
