I mounted my Stebel Nautilus via a home-made bracket just behind the rad. overflow tank on the right side. It's totally out of the way, protected, and the horn's blast is NOT diminished! I've had several cars "drifting" into my lane (not looking) ALMOST roll trying to get away from the 'Peterbilt' that just blasted them with its horn! LOVE it! Ed

I need to get my Stebel mounted on the Ninja. No easy task, considering it is half the size of the bikes engine. Question: I had hooked the unit to a car battery just to see what it sounded like and ended up with a short "winding up" period before hitting peak noise. Is this the way the horn acts when hooked to a charging system, or normal? Sounded a little like a goose caught in a wood chipper. E

When the temperature is cold, the Stebel I have will not "honk" with both geese at first. But, warm, it does fine. Perhaps your new Stebel needed loosening up. It should blast on the first try with 12V from the bike. eddie

Noise? Was it in the upright possition? Not sure why, I haven't taken one apart but instructions say ONLY 25dig off straight up. (remember, thats when the BIKE is in riding possition) Mounting? Have you tried Googling, Steble horn & (your bike). Twisted throttle shows several differant bikes with it mounted. But others will show you on youtube How also. Travel Safe! Travel Well! Mark (W. Mine's dead vertical as instructed. It just doesn't like cold weather. lol One of the ads I saw had it mounted horizontally(!), contrary to the instructions. Go figure. =) eddie
