nklr gps

Post by cycletip@yahoo.com » Wed Mar 09, 2011 10:20 am

David - I use the 60CSx Garmin. Think they recently updated it but it's the bomb for everything you mentioned. MapSource topo maps work great with it. Mounts to my KLR & BMW perfectly. Monty Taxes are coming back and I think its about time I buy a gps for the KLR. What are people using? I also geocache with my kid and thought about buying an Garmin Oregon, but dont know how it will work with the KLR on trails and backroads. shock oil dump

Post by JWF » Wed Mar 09, 2011 5:59 pm

I put my A13 away, all was ok. Three days later its shock oil is in a nice neat puddle under the bike. Two questions: 1. If the seal was going to give out, why didn't it fail while under the pressure of riding (not that I'm complaining)? 2. While I have the shock off, what do you all recommend by way of MODESTLY PRICED improvements to it, like $100-$200 tops? Aftermarket spring maybe? I'm 200 pounds in full gear. Thanks for any tips.
