Hey all In my clymer's on my K1200lt (BMW) it says do NOT add ANYTHING to the gas for storage. (stabilizers etc.) "it may corode or fowl the system." I don't know if something is differant with BMW's But it makes me think who else (makers Kawasaki, honda etc.) says the same thing?

You know, chickens, ducks, geese, etc. Don't add them to your gas tank. eddie wrote:

I used to winterize my KLR: heated grips, hippo hands, Ford F250 seat heating pad unter the stock vinyl, 800 micro studs in a Barum-Mitas C09 front tire, and ~250 #6 x 1/2" hex-head sheet metal screws in a rear Kenda K270. Mark

Didn't Splitfire have to change their ads when they couldn't prove their claims. And they have only one spark, between the center and one side electrode, not the multi-spark sometimes claimed (the electricity takes the shortest path to ground at the time of ignition, not multiple paths) Chris

Isn't winterizing putting on the big windshield, hand protectors, and maybe grip heaters? Chris
