riding lovelock, nv

Message Have found a nice little jewel of landscape around the Lovelock, NV area.  High desert with many riding options.  Spent 3 days last week but had been there once before 5 years earlier.  More we ride there the more I like it.  Living in Nor CA miss the Mojave a lot.  This is a breath of fresh air.  People in the town of Lovelock couldn't be more friendly.  The place is super inexpensive.  Here are some ride pictures and a short video.  http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/creativeapps/slideShow/Main.jsp?albumId=302708971903&ownerId=94094993303    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdxh0nDvp7M     FYI - As a side note on day 2 I dumped the KLR and somehow while the bike was over brake fluid got on top of the rubber seal in the master cylinder.  Upon picking her up I noticed fluid coming from it onto the handlebars.  Oh no?  Come to find out there's two very small breather holes on the top cover.  Guess they keep atmosphere pressure equal inside.  Thought I'd cracked it or something but only had to clean out the fluid from on top of the rubber seal.   After dealing with the brakes and prepping the bike to ride finally we noticed a bolt missing from one side of the rear sub-frame.  Dam!  Was wondering what all the clanking was yesterday!  No other 10mm available to steel so we took to my Toyota Truck.  Radiator mounting bolt proved to be just the ticket and saved the day.  All good!  Oh, I might mention that had the rear sub-frame bolt upgrade not been done I fear there could have been a major problem.  FWIW - if you carry any weight, ride hard or two up, look into it.  You'll be glad you did!
