[b]Subject:[/b] Re: [DSN_KLR650] Seat Question The difference is that the 08 and later KLR has an extra mounting point on the front side of the seat and the 07 and earlier doesn't.  You could put an early model on a late model KLR and it will fit, the only "issue" may be that the seat is loose in the front.  Putting a late model seat on an early model KLR could scratch the tank where this front mounting point is on the seat.
