If the slotted front mounting point is the drawback, I could see a Dremel removing it and a small block of rubber glued in it's place, yes? =) eddie

[b]Subject:[/b] Re: [DSN_KLR650] Seat Question The difference is that the 08 and later KLR has an extra mounting point on the front side of the seat and the 07 and earlier doesn't. You could put an early model on a late model KLR and it will fit, the only "issue" may be that the seat is loose in the front.
