nklr a credability credential - an apology

Post by Jeff Khoury » Wed Sep 15, 2010 1:19 am

#ygrps-yiv-747830515 p {margin:0;}Certainly. The "Sent from my iPhone" is the default email signature on all iPhones and is there unless you specifically turn it off. It serves two purposes: First: Advertising for apple Second: Many people have been putting that kind of thing in their signatures since the beginning of the smartphone revolution as a pre-apology for messages being curt or having typos. Mine used to say: "This message was sent from my phone, sorry about the tpyos" (Yes, with the typo in place) -Jeff Khoury
----- Original Message ----- From: "Lee Dodge" To: "KLR650 List" DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 14, 2010 10:47:25 PM GMT -08:00 US/Canada Pacific Subject: [DSN_KLR650] NKLR A Credability credential - an Apology   I need to apologize to some people for the above mentioned posting.  I was informed by a good soul on the list that the line about the message was sent from a Smart phone is added by some of the service providers NOT the sender.  To those I offended I do apologize. Sincerely, Lee P.S. I would be quite offended by a service provider essentially advertising in my e-mail as well as the potential for the recipients to think I was bragging.
