more loud pipes,delusion!

Post by Lee Dodge » Thu Sep 09, 2010 10:10 am

Let me add to Jeff's analysis by referring all who are interested in the 'Load Pipes" issue; go to the South Park archives and search for the program titled 'The F Word'.  The feelings of everyone, non riders principally,  I've quizzed on the issue of M/C noise is clearly described in that episode. Also one of my favorite sayings-applicable in a surprising number of cases- is . . . .        "An empty bucket makes the most noise" Cheers (quietly please), Lee

I'm a libertarian (with a small "L").  I agree with Reagan that the government usually IS the problem. HOWEVER: My house is on a major 4-lane boulevard in West Los Angeles.  It would be difficult to count the number of straight-piped Harleys that roar up and down my street on any given day and into the night.  It is not for safety, it is not for performance, it is flat-out retarded. I blame the Discovery Channel for introducing those knuckle-dragging cretins from American Chopper to the country.  When that show came out, everyone just HAD to get a chopper, and if they couldn't afford a custom bike, they bought a Harley and just made it stupid loud. It is not "cool", no one wants to hear your pipes over their conversations, their TV and in some cases their headphones.  I swear if I never see one more &$*@ing loud, vibrating, overpriced, polished-chrome turd, it will be too soon.  It's these types of people who give us all a bad name, and prompt small-brained politicians to pass stupid laws that we all then have to live with.  If people used the common sense of a *%&^ing goose everyone would not be pissed off and this law would not have ever been proposed. So, don't blame the government, blame the do-rag wearing, chrome polishing, leather-vested retard squids who ride their overpriced, underpowered and incredibly annoying piles of rubbish around this once-fair state. -Jeff Khoury -Jeff Khoury

magnetic drain plug

I have them in all my machines. You will surprised at the crap that is stuck to it at your next oil change. My Artic Cat ATV came with one. I don't care if it is before, after, or during the filter or oil pump, a magnet just means less crap circulating.
