interesting eastern beaver lighting kit/easiest lighting fix for pre

This Kit is the same as the H4 Single Headlight Relay Kit with Ceramic Socket, except that ON HI BEAM, LO BEAM REMAINS ON.
I was considering this for my pre 08 but am afraid that it would cause oncoming traffic to flash their brights at me since I went from 55w/65w to 55w/100w.
THE EASIEST LIGHTING FIX FOR PRE 08 would be to jump the lights so both are on all the time. You could also go whiter 55/60w H4 bulb. Though you would have to up the fuse 5 watts and maybe change the socket to higher temp. This way people wouldn't be flashing their brights at you and you wouldn't be overburdening the charging system. You could also wire it so you could turn your lights completely off if desired.
It doesn't take much effort to do this wiring yourself instead of buying the kit.
Instead I went with 1 qh-74rt with one 70 watt bulbmounted above the stock headlight where my stupid original windshield was. http://www.optronicsinc.com/driving-new.html Fred has a much more convenient kit with two qh61cw that comes with 35 watt bulbs. But, I don't think 35 watt bulbs do much esp. in those small reflectors. And two 75 watt bulbs might be too much for the stator to keep up with.
I changed to a high temp H4 connector and from a 10 amp glass fuse to a 15 amp blade.
So now I can run 55w solo. 100w solo. Or 55w+70w. Or 100w+70w. The 100w+70w works great for splitting lanes at dusk or at night because: 1)very bright, 2)blue tinge Optronic lens, 3)odd formation of one bluish tinge light over stock headlight makes the cagers think it is a cop or UFO coming.
