The mounting bracket was a different design than the KLR's but The motor is the same....I just swapped out the blade and I have a spare motor if I ever need one. > > Mike Huber > 06 FullyFarkledFrog > > > > > To: justsayizzy@... > CC: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com > From: salinej1@... > Date: Thu, 5 Aug 2010 19:02:30 -0600 > Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] New fan blade for 2001 650 needed > > > > > > > On Thu, 5 Aug 2010 17:08:50 -0700 (PDT) JD > writes: > > I need another blade. klr 650(kind of ) : encounter of the klr kind
Since my dear better half is due back soon from a trip to her home land overseas ( NO..not the Holy Land ..she ain't that good), I thought that in order to keep things as they were ( marital bliss ) ,I would have to go to my local WallyWorld and stock up on cleaning supplies ( you would be surprised to see what kind of a mess a bunch of ladies friends can do to a house ,they are more that happy to come over but forget about dishes !!! Women!!!) . I pulled in the parking lot ,and there it was, in the back of a truck, a PRIME looking '03 !!!I just could not help it ,the gentleman was ready to pull out, I stopped him, and we started talking ,like all CIVILIZED people do here in the South (did you know that the Southern part of the US was French at one point ..... No wonder....), no "what's up dude " ,no signs of " I belong to a club" just talks about the KLR ,where we have been with it , and so on ...
What kind of a different breed are we? No bragging, no colors ,lone wolves .. I think the (in) famous logo should apply to KLR'istas " Ride to ... L... to Ride ) .
Luc ... who thinks he should stop reading from Wong Kiew Kit ( The Complete Book Of Zen )
