dual platform low saddle review

Hi all,
Well I have had the Dual Platform LOW saddle from Corbin for just over two months now and even though this seat is light years away from the home-made seat I made from the original Kawi seat, it still leaves something to be desired for.
At 5'10" and 205 lbs with an inseam of 31, the KLR is a bit too tall for me. So, I decided to get rid of my Kawi seat, which had foam cut out and re-stapled to provide a lower seating position, for a Corbin Dual Platform LOW saddle.
The Corbin is a quality seat, although they did screw up my order at first. The Corbin is perfect for people that want the lowest seating position. The foam they use is comfortable from the start and people who say that it is too hard, are just too soft themselves. The lower center of gravity, the material, the comfort are all there, so what is my problem?
Well here is the caveat, the seat is made for an ass much larger than mine. I am not a small guy but the ass area of the seat is too wide and too long, meaning that during acceleration I am thrown back into the seat and during braking I slide forward and during steady riding I am somewhere in between.
My final word is to get a custom seat done for a particular sized ass. My original Kawi seat with the poor cut out was a good start, but I think the best option for anyone is to get the seat professionally done to your measurements, which should include the ass area.
