I remember seeing some folding dual sport mirrors that I can not seem to find now. They mounted on the handlebars and flipped out for highway use and folded in for trail use. Does anyone remember these and have a link to them? I am looking for something to replace the OEM mirrors that won't break when I go down. Thanks Pat

I can think of three possibilities. 1. Simplest are the Acerbis dirt bike mirrors, all nylon with a simple friction ball. Very easy to tuck out of the way, very hard to see anything in. About $8. 2. Ken Sean folding mirrors. Widely available at about $18. A little fiddly to set up, but aeem to work pretty well pnce you have them right. 3. Turbo-something KTM folding mirrors, nice, sturdy, about $35 per side. I just thought of a fourth. 4. Advrider's Neduro has a folding mirror system that uses Ram ball mounts. Looks durable and adjustable if a little space-agey. By the time you have all the bits, probably something north of $60 per side. Dual Star also markets a variation on the small bicycle mirror that mounts with hose clamps to the riser portion of your handlebar and affords a rearward view under your armpit. I don't know how adjustable they are, but they are out of harms way all the time. I have tried the bicycle mirrors mounted on the ends of the handlebars. You can see a little bit, but not enough to satisfy your riding buddies who want you to notice when they run out of gas behind you. I have tried the under-arm view with normal-sized mirrors, and found it a little hard to get used to, but otherwise ok. At least you are not looking at your shoulders. In any case, try buying anything from Dual Star. Anything. I dare you.
