Mark, You are a candidate for some custom made boots. Many hunting magazines and many Cowboy magazines advertise for custom made boots. They measure your foot as well as your thigh. You can get them made to slip on or lace up. They make a 'last' that is the impression of all the measurements of your foot: drawing, instep, ankle, calf, etc. Most guarantee, absolute satisfaction. Many outfitters/guides wear only a custom made-to-fit shoe/boot. Aerostich Combat Touring boots use velcro closures. My first pair I had extended tabs made up by a leather worker at a cost of about $80. For my second pair, I found it easier and cheaper to get a couple of pieces of self-adhesive velcro at Fleet Farm. Just stick the hook piece to the back of the loop piece and you have a cheap and easy extender for your boot tabs. It also just so happens that the Combat Tourers and Combat Lites, made by Sidi, are excellent dual sport boots. Best of all they are highly likely to be in stock at your local Harley/Buell dealer for about $14 each. The right front and left rear are one part number; the left front and right rear are another part number. Ensure that you get the mounting nut as well. These signals have a common mounting diameter bolt but an unusually fine thread pitch making the mounting nut hard to source.
