I'm moving to California and my KLR650 does not have California modifications to it I don't think. (except for the spark arrestor). What do I need to worry about. I don't really want to pay to make changes to my bike, esp. since I will probably only be there for a year. If I like it a lot there I may stay longer though. My registration is for Wisconsin currently, and my plates are from Wisconsin. My drivers license is from Hawaii.
i need a trip reminder

You shouldn't have anything to worry about if it is titled to you and you have more than 7,500 miles on it. No smog inspection is required on bikes and you didn't buy it new here so EEC is not required. If you have less than 7500 miles you may have to jump through some hoops to prove that you're just moving here and didn't sneak out of state to buy it to evade sales tax.
That's the magic 7,500 mile number.

You don't need your passport or birth certificate here if you are coming from Arizona!
