What came first the deer or the gunshot wound?  Was the bullet from the gun recovered? Was there gunshot residue on the deer's trigger hoof? It would have to be that the guy has some really, really bad karma for a gun to go off in an accident! I got it know, another person was involved that was shooting at the deer from a car going the other direction, hit the deer and the bullet bounced somehow and hit the rider. No matter what it's pretty bad!

Attachments : SALEM, WESTMORELAND COUNTY - Westmoreland County authorities have ruled a motorcyclist who died Friday night actually committed suicide.

Investigators originally thought William Amos, 47, died when his motorcycle struck a deer on Route 819 in Salem around 1 a.m. However, a pistol was discovered at the scene and a subsequent autopsy confirmed that Amos died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

No further information has been released.

Well, perhaps. It is possible that his physical pain was so great from the impact, that he could only think of one thing to do. Pain so great that death would have been welcome...most will never experience such pain; be glad that you never had that experience. On the otherhand, I wonder/suspect if he was on his way 'somewhere' to end his life when he hit the deer. revmaaatin.

Naw, he just wanted to ENSURE that he died all proper-like. He capped himself, and then got on the bike and rammed a deer, just to make sure he didn't survive. -----Original Message----- From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Jud Must have been guilt and shame over the death of the deer.
