water pump seal life ?

Alright folks, I am starting to get drips of antifreeze out the weep hole.. #$@#%@#%@
What has been your life expectancy of the water pump seals ?
I will be replacing sometime, found how to's online and all that happy stuff and know to check the oil screen.
