I have a set of Pirelli MT21's on rims that I might sell. I have my bike for
sale and the tires go with it - unless a potential buyer doesn't want them.

I have seen some for sale. Will they fit my KLR650 2004? I would like to
have a rear dirt wheel and rear street wheel so I can swap depending on
where I will b riding that day.

List-
Went to Wally World for a slosh battery and a gallon of Rotella 5-40.
What I found for oil--
"Rotella-T, Triple Protection", @ 22% less wear.
hmmm. me thinks that is the dreaded wear reducers not compatible with our clutch.
in fine print: 22% less than Rotella T CJ-4 ratings
so a google later finds

said in '08 that it was OK. Rotella-T I bought in 08 is not the same as this container I saw this evening.
my container looks like this--

what say you? Is the new Rotella-T safe for a KLR shared sump/clutch?

#ygrps-yiv-1494622228 p {margin:0;}Does it say anything like "Energy Conserving", "High-Mileage", etc. on the API seal?
If it doesn't, I'd say it's probably OK.
All of the documentation I can find says that there is NO Moly in Rotella T.
I've also used Castrol SynTec and Mobil 1 without issue as well. Don't use Castrol EDGE, it has Moly.

Thanks Jeff--
I did not remember those were the buzz words
["Energy Conserving", "High-Mileage]
were the words to look for--just that it was 22% less wearing which concerned me. Since it is all 50+ miles away...it will be another day before I can look again.
revmaaatin. who may not remember the words, but maybe the tune is familiar

Think you mean 15-40 right ?
I seen that too and made me think it had friction stuff in it and grabbed the Delvac 1300. Besides the Delvac was $9 the Rotella-T was like $13.50 if I remember right.
My bike seems to like the Delvac... could also be it was overdue for a oil change or the fact I adjusted the Doo while changing oil, or could just be my imagination I reckon but bike sure did seem to be more happy.

Do these energy conserving oils cause any permanent damage, or would switching back to regular oil make things well again? Craig Kahler

Sorry Dooden--
Tired eyes; it was 15-40 not 5-40.
Good catch.
In reading the 2008 discussion on Rottella-T, Delvac received high recomendations from some WING riders. They really must be cheap--as one guy was constantly going 7K on an oil change.
