No matter how well we seem to refill a radiator, tilting the bike this way and that to get out any trapped air, there always seems to be some stuck somewhere.
My mechanic friend has a practice of slightly over filling the return tank to make up for it. A few hot/cold cycles will help purge the trapped air and the added coolant takes it's place. Paranoid me checks the radiator after a few rides anyway.
