It was just about the end of the riding so I put a few ice screws in the next-to-outermost row of knobs and got in a few icy rides over the winter until I replaced the tire in the spring. Once I was sitting at a park and a cop stopped and acually got out of his car to tell me "If I see another bike next to yours, I'm going to arrest both of you!"
