double speed blinkers

You need a heavy duty flasher or an electronic one. It is the same as when you hook trailer lights up to a car. The bimetal flashes go fast. Another solution is LED bulbs in the new tail lights. ---- gremoby61 wrote:

Luc,   You drilled out the baffles in your exhaust and this exhaust has to go somewhere.  Why would anyone be surprised that it goes straight out the back?  Not a problem unless you release a spark and start a fire.   I think the better questions would be: 1. Does anyone on Dialup have something to say about this post? 2. Why would anyone want to post their family photo album to a motorcycle list? 3. Luc, do you see the error of your ways?? Done !  Welded the cap back on and added a 1 1/2 i.d. stub . See pictures. Now ,as I was warming up my bike last night, a buddy of mine said " Man ,what you trying to do ? blow it up ? I can feel the exhaust blast 6-7 feet away !!! Effectively when I put my hand about 7-8 feet away from exhaust i could feel the blast and that was just at iddle . Questions are : 1) Is this OK ? 2 ) Should I use a larger i.d. stub ?  3) Did I cause any kind of exhaust valves damage ?

Luc, I don't know about your exhaust mods. I don't see any reason to modify a stock exhaust system. My wild guess is you've got too many holes and may have released pressure too far forward in the system. But that's just a wild guess. I doubt you did any exhaust valve damage yet. Now as to the pictures... I'm on dial up. It took about 20 minutes to download all the pictures you sent. I'm guessing most of them were sent by mistake. I only looked at a couple and they didn't seem to be KLR related.
