Howdy, Last fall I rode my KLR from Albuquerque to Merida, Mexico - return. That was in November and my bike was trailered to Missoula, MT. I'm planning on flying down and doing some needed work on the bike and then riding it back home to Whitehorse, Yukon. Working on it will include replacing fork seals+bushings, giving it a fork brace, replacing the chain and front/rear cog set, changing the oil, checking valve clearances as well as a few other tiddly things. The bike was well suited to Mexico. I rode Pirelli Scorpion tires and they worked well. That's all folks! Back to lurking.
