Hey all   Aerostich and many others show holders to hang your helmet on the wall with all the BUGS and Not on the kitchen counter.  Habor Freight has a Plastic cord/Hose i seen yesterday that is about the same shape for about $2.89   I explained To her, BUT, if I don't sit it on the counter by the sink (& stove where our food is prepped), I would forget to wash all the BUG SPLAT off before the next ride......Her replie was, "If I ACCIDENATLLY! back over both Bikes, You won't need a Helmet, Problem solved".   At $3. I'm getting going back and getting one for each helmet.    Travel Safe Travel Well. Mark (W. Mich.)

Jeez. OK: C'mon, lets give The administration a chance. Haven't you guys got your 'BamaCare Card yet? I'm sure glad they are opening up our borders and allowing anyone in that needs welfare, healthcare and drivers license. And Nancy Pelosi? Hot AND personable. Anything else?

My Bike has never run better, the synthetic in her crankcase is the color of my favorite german beer, still a golden translucent with almost no brown tinge at all. The ride in the country of western carver county seemed a dream, rolling hills and cool air. at 65 mph the bike seemed electric, as though it was at peace. Alas, a quick look at my watch indicated only an hour left before I needed to be back home. My thoughts wandered to the Kenda rear, which was now almost half worn. The smaller (4.60) profile was not what I would put on next time, however the low end torque effect was substantial and I had no regrets. I had gotten a lot of good miles out of that piece of rubber. Still pondering which tire to install next . . . . and when. The highway back was busy and seemed juxtaposed against the country drive in previous minutes. The bike welcomed the challenge and soon saw 85 mph after merging with the frenetic pace of autos and pickup trucks. rolling into the subdivision my mind wandered regretfully to the next tasks, - mowing, raking, that patch of sod which needs to be fixed. Perhaps I should water today. or maybe I should check to see if the kids have practice. The weekly tasks now take over, the bike gets parked, cooling down gradually, ticking. . . I shoot a blast of JB chain lube onto the chain and then park it in its spot. Since the list has been a bit quiet, I thought I would share some KLR poetry. Sort of in the vein of William Wordsworth, Sir Walter Scott, or perhaps Alexander Pushkin, who of course was known to have ridden an early DR650. . . . ride safe, thanks for reading todd A16 chaska mn
