It drives the pin straight out without damaging the link at all. It snugs rivet-on links nicely then a quick switch to the rivet tool firmly secures them.  No clips to worry about. Keep the instructions. It always takes me a couple of minutes to refresh on how to configure the tool. -Jeff Khoury ----- Original Message ----- From: roncriswell@... I like rivet clips as I have lost a couple master link clips. I know, I know, install the link correctly and no problemo. With a revit clip no problemo ....ever. It works very well and I've broken chains all the way up to 630 with it.  Definitely a quality tool, not a one-time throwaway. http://www.solomotoparts.com/product.php?productid=22972 -Jeff Khoury Astatic Solutions, LLC. ----- Original Message ----- From: "mark ward" To: "List KLR" DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Friday, April 16, 2010 4:44:12 PM GMT -08:00 US/Canada Pacific Subject: [DSN_KLR650] CHAIN Repair   Hey Jeff S./ all   I'm Looking at chain repair tools, to break the links and repair on the road/trail. any Good set you like for the Traveling tool pack.
