rubber-mounted handlebars ?

What's the best way to try rubber-mounted handlebars?
I've got the gel hand grips, I've filled the handlebars with lead shot,
I've adjusted the valves and the balancer chain tension. But I really
want to reduce the handlebar vibration more.
I still have the original steel handlebars. I've heard aluminum fat bars
would be better, though that would take a lot of replacement of
everything currently on the handlebars wouldn't it (mirror mounts,
switch clusters, throttle, accessory mounts, etc.)
So I'm wondering about rubber-mounted handlebars.
I see things like "PRO TAPER RUBBER MOUNTED HANDLEBAR MOUNT KIT" -- has
anybody here tried things like these?
Rox Risers look interesting, though expensive.
