That's so the oil dripping out of the engines and trannys dont get on the front wheel to be sprayed onto all the useless flashy chrome. Not so real bikers, the ones who ride usefull bikes like KLRs, dont have that problem. Our's dont leak and are light enough to push without the use of heavy machinery.
