I have the large on my Vstrom and the small on my KLR.  I use a cargo net on both of them for extra security when off road.  I have put a lot of off road miles with mine on the KLR and have had no problems with it.  The Large one's latch broke the other day.  I am going to order a  new one to replace it.  I had a bad get off on the KLR seven weeks ago and broke my leg, but the case is fine.  Both only hold one helmet, but the large will hold a helmet, rain suit, extra gloves, etc........ I have had them both loaded down with tools, so weight has not been an issue.  I like them because at the end of the day when I go to the hotel room, I can take it off and carry it in.  The one on the KLR was put on in 2004.  The one on the Vstrom was already there from the PO.
