You two don't happen to know a good mech. Both klr's the exhaust is running hot the 93 melted the air box and the 88 turns red, values are good no leaks in the exhaust new plugs adj. carb even put in a bigger jet factory muffler k&n air filter. darn thing is this problem jumped from the 93 KLR to my 88 KLR. Go figure.

klr650 : bright bulb
The "Bright Bulb" on the TPI site is a high output H-4 that uses an 80 watt low and 60 watt high beam and claims very high lumens output for both. Sounds interesting but I also would like to hear from anyone who has used it. They do recommend a relay harness for it.

Very bright LEDs and attracts attention like no other light I know of. It has an adjustable flash rate. It comes from the factory set to flash for a few seconds when you put on the brakes and then a constant bright brake light. It uses less current than your stock 1157 bulb too. I have not had any failures with this LED brake light. I guess the first time you use your brakes with this LED light and your tail-gater backs off, then I'd say it was worth it at around $50. > > Fred > www.arrowheadmotorsports.com > > > > > From: Luc Legrain > Sent: Saturday, April 03, 2010 8:00 AM > To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [DSN_KLR650] klr650 : Bright bulb > > > > Anybody using the " Bright Bulb " offered by TPI ??
