I have always kinda liked the torquey lazy V twin air cooled simplicity of them. I would probably own one if they weren't 15 grand. My problem is... some........not all that ride Harleys. Rarely do you find a decent helmet (fullface helmets are almost non existent). I know two guys whose wives faces were saved by fullface helmets. Face plants aren't fun with no protection. I had to ride about 40 miles home the other day with just sunglasses on with my fullface as it got knocked off and broke the visor clips on one side. Clue me what is so bad ass and macho with riding with and open face or no helmet with just sunglasses on?? Am I missing something??? Saturday my wife and I were going to dinner. A guy in front of me with his chic on a Sportster with ape hangers. The handlebars don't bother me. It was his Nazi helmet with WWl spike in the top. Great. You like the Aryan Tuetonic foolishness and disaster for Germany and much of the world with your romanticism of WWl or WWll? Fine. I just hope the spike in the helmet was an easily breakable plastic spike in case of a crash.... or the spike will either give you a broken neck or ram the spike through whatever little grey matter you have for foolishly wearing anything associated with Nazis. Sometimes I see black guys riding with a Nazi helmet. I guess they haven't read Hitlers book. Fullface is the only way. Criswell Sent from my iPhone

No Helmet! I LOVE riding with NO helmet, Like wearing shorts a a T shirt around the yard, simple, lite, airy. AND LIKE RIDING A BIKE INSTEAD OF A SAFER INCLOSED TRUCK THAT I FEEL SAFER IN. I, DO HOW EVER WEAR A FULL FACE HELMET OUT OF FEAR. (99% of the time) has nothing to do with macho, it's on empty back highways or fields if i don't wear it. From: "roncriswell@ sbcglobal. net" To: KLR Group ups.com> Sent: Mon, March 29, 2010 7:18:32 PM Subject: [DSN_KLR650] Nazi helmets NKLR???
