No harm in changing the oil sooner than recommended.> Right now it is at around 470+ miles; it's not even broken in. I got the bike in September. I usually have the dealer do the first service at 800 to 1000 miles, then I take it from there..... Just when should I change the oil? Since it sat the winter in the garage, run a few times and warmed up, I am thinking I should get to it soon. Thoughts? >
I use in-ear buds, currently on set of JVC's that cost about $20. I was using Skull Candy Ink'd before these but had two sets of those fail. The sound quality was better on the Skull Candy units [until the sound was no longer there anyway]. It's a little tricky getting a helmet on over the in-ear headphones without knocking them loose but it can be done. By far the greatest improvement I've made to the phones, regardless of the brand is replacing the foam around the drivers with replacment from radio shack. Really helps cut wind noise so you can hear the music at a low enogh level to still hear traffic around you. This foam, while pricey is very similar to the stuff used in ear plugs, so you roll it in your finger tips, then stick in your.... ear. http://www.radioshack.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=3512587&allCount=206&fbc=1&f=Brand%2F1015861%2F&fbn=Brand%2FComply&filterName=Brand&filterValue=Comply> da Vermonster> And, off that subject, and onto another - anyone use any kind of "speaker system" for their iPod, for listening when they ride? Helmet or handlebar setup? Because there are some times when I like to catch on my podcasts while I ride..... > Chuck F. > NE PA
