Happened to me right near there too. When I wanted to check the valves the first time, I road my KLR with 500 miles on it to my friend's workshop on a farm near Buelton. The weight of the KLR with a full tank sure is nice on the hwy or fwy but hated when you dump it in the back country and have a hard time getting it back up. Valves didn't need adjusting... Jeffrey #3
