Jeff, Just curious--why this location? It has been nearly two years since I sat on an 08, but I thought all that faring left and right of the gas tank would have been a beautiful place for plugs and switches. Is there no room underneath the fairings horizontal surfaces for switch and appliance clearance? revmaaatin.> > Good Afternoon, > > I wanted a switched 12v power port on my KLR, so today I whipped out the soldering iron and got busy. It is switched, fused and has a quick-disconnect so it's still easy to remove the side panel. After I took the pictures, I weatherproofed all the connections. > > All the connectors are soldered onto the cables, and the connectors are soldered onto the spades.
