carburetor question

Howdy,
It will be much easier if the rubber is warm? It was a bit of a struggle, but I have mine out a few times.
Good luck,
A5 Jim
I have a 2006 KLR650 that has been sitting for 1 year. I have tried to
remove the carburetor, but there is no room at all in the rear boot
allowing you to pull it out. According to the Clymers manual you can
push the carburetor back in order to pull it out (1987-2003 KLR's).
Does anyone have a newer manual with a different procedure?
Any advise regarding the removal of the carburetor will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Red
