I'm in Central IL. We are forecast to receive 8-10" of snow over the next 36 hours or so.
Already about 2" have fallen. Anyone else in the path of this Winter Wonderland of snow?

Up here in da U.P. they are calling for 3~5" tonight and 5~8" tomorrow. But don't worry with all this Global Warming and such it will all melt away soon enough.. Maybe May or June... Is Indianhead Mountain open yet?  I’m a’plannin’ on hitting the yoop at least once before winter is over next July.

We got 6 inches on Friday, then a further 6 inches or so on Saturday. High winds and sub-zero (F) temperatures did not make snow removal fun. On the bright side, it will all be gone by April and the Riding Season comes 'round again. The tourist people call this "Sunny Alberta", but they are only correct on a technicality. We dodged the bullet. A pocket of warm air passed over us with the storm. It turned most of it into a hard rain. Over night it turned into snow. We ended up with 4". Another inch or so to fall today, but temperature is supposed to drop to -3 by tonight. Just 40 miles North and West of us the got 7", another 50 miles in the same direction it dropped 12". Sorry for them, but happy for us.   Rick A17 From: D Critchley To: dsn_klr650@yahoogroups.com Sent: Tue, December 8, 2009 4:23:01 PM Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] NKLR weather NKLR   We got 6 inches on Friday, then a further 6 inches or so on Saturday. Just go to bikebandit.com or ronayers.com and see what they are asking. Then ask 50-60% plus actual shipping charges and be willing to negotiate from there. da Vermonster
