I'm interested in leading a group of deep-pocketed foreigners across the US on the TransAmerica Trail. Anybody have any ideas on how I could do this? I haven't ridden the TAT myself, and I haven't a clue about how to market this. Still, I'm rather taken with the idea, and thought that the folks on this list might be full of suggestions and wisdom.
Thanks,
Kevin

looking for help with klr business idea
Though Im not deep pocketed, Id be interested in coming along
It does sound like a good business idea though. Id start writing up a business model/plan and a lot of the detailed information you'll need should start surfacing when your putting your plan together. I know it sounds bad, but 95% of all business that start without a solid business plan will fail within the first year.

klr650 . battery - wally world
I'm on my 3rd one in 11 years, just go down there and look in their catalogs.
They are less than $40 a whack (maybe less than $30, and you get a $5 rebate for your old battery so make sure you bring it with you) and last a minimum of 3 -4 years.
Make sure you fill it with acid and then leave it on a charger overnight before you use it, it'll last forever.
Thanks
