What you have done is change from plain text only without attachments to HTML and allowing attachments. So far the pictures posted with the messages were not true attachments but embedded in the HTML. If it was still plain text and allowing attachments the user could have the option not to download the attachment. I have no idea if you could set Yahoo up that way though but that is really what you asked. I currently have no problem with bandwidth. I do know others do. The majority of users also have no problem with bandwidth. Should the majority rule? Should the majority be selfish and get what they want because they can even though they don't need it and alienate the minority who either cannot afford or cannot get high speed internet? Reading the mail on the web is slower so that is not an answer. Another thing is that mobile email is finally becoming affordable. As the list was someone could keep up with the list while on a trip on those lonely rainy nights in their tent if they have mobile email. With the current change the bandwidth usage would eliminate that option unless they had an expensive unlimited plan. Fred, you have to be a leader and give us what we should have not what we want... Like the great leaders of the good old USA do.
