Attachments : Hi Fred and all, one option would be to limit the quality of the pics that were attached in consideration of the bandwidth challanged . I shoot all my pics at the highest quality my camera will allow, may as well camera memory is cheap. If I'm sending a pic via Hotmail I can send it as a file or as a photo, I just tried one to see and found what was 2mb if sent as a file was 76kb if sent as a photo. Not sure if Yahoo has a function like ths bit I'm sure there are many simple ways to reduce the quality before the pic is attached if Yahoo can't. In my case and probably most others are the same, if someone wanted a full quality copy of a pic I shot I could then email it directly to them. I attached both as an example...Have a great weekend.....Greg

For all the naysayers, I have one question, Did you vote in the attachment
Poll?
I only act according to what the majority wants. If you want to drum up
support to have HTML turned back off, go knock yourself out. Just vote on
the poll that was created last week.
http://autos. groups.yahoo. com/group/ DSN_KLR650/ surveys?id= 2922057
As of today, there are 61% of this list's voters that wanted to have
attachments sent to them by email, 35% wanted attachments stored on the web
site and only 2% that wanted no attachments at all.
Members on dialup can always read the list's messages by going to the web
site.
If you have any suggestions, I am open for anything.
Fred

Just so you know as plain text your message would have been about 4k in
size.
Now that you allow HTML it has increased along with the picture 7,700%.
This list will become almost unusable for the dialup crowd.

I have downloaded a few new applications that you can check out on the web
site.
These Beta applications are new to YAHOO! and some will have "bugs" but
Yahoo is working on fixing them.
Be patient if you find that something isn't working correctly right now.
I hope these and the other additions to our message board enhances your
experiences here.
