Kawasaki part number K99994-500. Black expandable tank bag for the KLR650
with clear map cover. Fits over the tank, clips to the front and side edges
of the tank with four quick-on, quick-off clips. Strategic hole for fuel
cap access. Excellent/like-new condition, shows no wear or evidence of
use. With original installation instruction sheet (as if it was really
necessary).
$30 + shipping. E-mail me off-list if interested.

tank bag for sale
Steve's post got me thinking, I have a NOS one of those, too! Came w/ my
2002 purchased in '03 from the PO who only put 900 miles on the bike. Tank
bag never used but stored in climate controled area so in excellent
condition. There is no part number but it is labeled 'Made for Kawasaki
Motor Corp.' and was made in CT, USA It looks like those seen on a google
search of his part # and from his description. No instruction sheet, but
really obvious haw its mounted.

do klr's get jealous?
I just got a Harley Road King and have been paying lots of attention to it. Now my 03 KLR650 isn't acting right. Maybe it's getting jealous.
The problem I am having is the KLR starts fine, but when it warms up, it dies out. I don't know much about repairs. Can anyone give me an idea where to start looking first? When I start the bike, i use the choke. I turn off choke when bike will stay on. When warm, bike turns off. Any ideas?
