This horn LOOKS identical to my Stebel Nautilus horn: has anyone heard both horns so they could tell me how the sound compares to the Stebel? Thanks. Ed

The price and frequency that these operate is exactly the same as the Stebel. The WOLO is rated at 118dB. The Stebel air horn is rated at 139dB and will make your ears bleed. Fred http://www.arrowheadmotorsports.com http://s1.zetaboards.com/arrowhead

Has anyone tried the new KLR horn that Whitehorse Gear sells? It supposed to be able to be installed without making any modifications From: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com [mailto:DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of Fred Hink Sent: Monday, August 10, 2009 12:27 PM To: DSN_KLR650@yahoogroups.com; fasteddiecopeman Subject: Re: [DSN_KLR650] WOLO Bad Boy Horn at Harbor Freight The price and frequency that these operate is exactly the same as the Stebel. So you want to buy a name brand knockoff? Most of the time we all know how that works out. It looks the same, the decibels are darn close and it's cheap. And darn, you spent some time getting it installed and worked fine for a couple of weeks/months and then for no reason it cratered. I buy some things from Harbor Freight, I am not immune. I also buy quality parts for my KLR and my wife's. It took me a few hours to mount the Stebels in a great location. They've been working flawlessly for a couple of years and as of this weekend, they still scare the f**king bejesus out of anyone/thing close by. Cheap is good, quality is better. I support Fred because he sells quality and it will work for a long time.

When I was a kid, my father raised Certified, Registered and Foundation seed. On a wall in the office of the seed cleaning plant was a plaque that I still think of from time to time. "Quality is a lot like buying oats. If you want nice, clean oats you must pay a fair price. But if you are satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse......well, they are a little cheaper. Ross Lindberg Fertile, MN

Around here, my quiet pipe has saved my life a few times. How so, you ask? Because everyone likes to drive the back roads like a rally driver. With my quiet pipe, I can hear oncoming traffic before it meets me in the middle of a blind turn... da Vermonster
