'05 engine stop switch

Depending upon the damage, you may be able to remove the switch and just resolder the wires. Otherwise, cut & cross the two wires in the harness and seal the ends with electrical tape. eddie

Any suggestions on how to bypass it until a new one comes via U.S. mail? Please advise.

ufo low mount fender

Post by Chris R » Fri Aug 07, 2009 8:38 pm

Finally getting arount to installing the UFO low mount fender I picked up a couple of months ago. So far its looking like the fork boots will not go back over the fork lowers. I was wondering if I'm doing something wrong? I know they are not designed specifically for the KLR so I don't expect it to be perfect. But I do want those boots to be in place to protect the fork seals. Anybody have better luck? I tried doing some searches for some good pictures to no avail. Does anyone have some close-ups of what you did with the fork boots. I was thinking about moving the mounting holes in the fender to shift it up and forward. Thanks for any ideas.
