I don't understand what the problem is since you successfully changed the
front. Take off the caliper and move it in and out. The pads will fall out;
there's no pin. Bogdan

I need some for my '04. I ride about 60% on/40% off road. Any advice on what brand, what kind etc. would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Gerry

I'm not picky, but I generally prefer (if I can get a deal on them)
sintered SBS or DP Brakes, front and rear.

My $.02, Stock OEM pads work well, last a long time and are gentle to the rotors... not all 3rd party brands fit all those catagories.

FYI - I was at my local Kawasaki dealer this weekend getting my Concours inspected and see that they have 2009 KLR 650's at $1,000 off. $4,599.00. No affiliation - just passing the info along. They are Hebelers Kawasaki in Pendleton, New York.
